New reports:
Via Reports>Reconciliation Reports the Income Statement and Show Income reports can be used to reconcile income to your invoice. These reports can be accessed as well via New Reports>Standard reports.
"Income statement report" - This report matches the design and details of the invoice statement, but can be run on a date range. It will match the invoice statement if run for the same date range as the invoice. This report replaces the formerly "Reconciliation summary by show for a date range" and "End of day" reports.
"Show income report" - This report is run based on selection of show. It will give a snapshot of the current data around sales of that show. Note that this report is NOT time invariant, since it is not run based on a date range. This report replaces the former "End of show" and "End of show for producers" reports.
Specific differences from former versions:
1) Pass income
Pass income is now distributed to show income when tickets on the pass are redeemed. This is done by dividing the pass income by the number of tickets possible and then debiting the portion from pass income and crediting that portion to show income as they are redeemed.
2) Gift certificate
Gift certificate purchase amounts will appear on the invoice statement. Gift certificate redemption does not appear on the statement or Income statement report.
Redemption of gift certificates will appear in the “gift certificate” payment column of the Show income report.
3) Ticket add-ons
Ticket add-ons are now reported separately from the ticket income the add-on was selected on.
4) Order based fees
Order based fees are now reported separately, since they are attached to an overall order, and not specific tickets or items. Ticket based fees will still be referenced to the specific show.
5) The Income statement report
The Income statement report is now time-invariant. So if you run it for a date range and it includes income for tickets sold, if you later release or refund some of those tickets and run the report for the same date range, the details will not change. The release or refund of the tickets will report based on the date those changes were made. In this way the report data will not change historically.
